REZA’S STORY
From English Karting Champion to FIA Motorsport Games Medalist — Reza’s Journey to the Top Continues
DRIVER PROFILE
Reza Seewooruthun has rapidly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting and promising young racing drivers. His journey began in 2021, when he first stepped into a kart. From that very first session—where he completed over 100 laps—his passion, discipline and natural ability behind the wheel were undeniable.
By 2022, Reza was crowned Junior Rotax English Karting Champion, earning the attention of leading teams across various junior motorsport categories. That same summer, he obtained his car racing license and tested with two of the top Ginetta Junior teams—both offered him a seat.
He made his circuit racing debut later that year at the Ginetta Junior Winter Series, finishing on the podium in every race and securing P3 in the Rookie standings—an unprecedented feat for a first-timer.
In 2023, Reza competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship with R Racing—one of the sport’s most successful teams—finishing 3rd in the Drivers’ Championship. He also made history by becoming the only driver to secure a triple pole position, lead every lap, and win every race in a single weekend since the championship’s inception in 2003.
His breakout year continued in 2024, as Reza stepped up to single seaters with a move to the ROKiT British F4 Championship. On his debut season, he delivered consistently strong performances and finished 3rd overall in the Drivers' Standings.
Reza also represented Team UK at the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games, claiming a Bronze Medal in the Formula 4 discipline. These achievements, alongside his professionalism and potential, earned him a place on the prestigious Motorsport UK Academy Futures Programme for two consecutive years.
In early 2025, Reza was selected as one of 25 drivers to join the BRDC Rising Star Programme—joining a long line of alumni including Lewis Hamilton and Alex Lloyd.
Following on from Reza’s early success in 2025, he made his debut in the GB3 Championship. Finishing fifth overall and establishing himself as one of the standout drivers in the field. He claimed his maiden GB3 victory in commanding fashion at the Hungaroring and added several podium finishes across the year, consistently fighting at the front. His performances highlighted both his pace and adaptability, marking an important step forward in his single-seater career.
2026 marks a new challenge as Reza joins Rodin Motorsport in their maiden season in Formula Regional Middle East Trophy certified by the FIA and FIA Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
