A fightback to the podium in Spa
Round 3 of the GB3 Championship took Reza to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for a weekend that tested patience, adaptability and strategy.
After a tough qualifying session, Reza lined up P14 and P15 for the three races. Races 1 and 2 saw progress with some skilled overtakes in the early laps, resulting in a P11 finish in Race 1, followed by P16 in Race 2.
But it was Race 3 that turned the weekend around.
Reza stood with P3 trophy in hand.
With the track drying and conditions changing quickly, the team rolled the dice and sent Reza out on slicks — one of just a few on the grid to make the gamble. It paid off.
From P15 on the grid, Reza stormed through the field with competitive pace, climbing all the way up to P3 to secure his first podium of the GB3 season.
“It wasn’t the easiest start to the weekend, but we stuck at it. Race 3 was a proper team effort and a reminder that staying in the fight always counts. Big thanks to the team for making the right call and giving me the car to make it happen.”
The momentum now heads into the summer break, with the Hungaroring up next in early July.
