Front-running pace and double podium at Donington Park
It was another strong weekend in the GB3 Championship as we returned to Donington Park, a circuit we’ve had good pace at, fast corners and of course plenty of support from family and friends.
The weekend started on a high with Reza qualifying P3 in Q1 and our first pole of the year in Q2, showing the pace and confidence that’s been building all season.
In Race 1, we got a great start, made up a position on lap 1 and pulled a gap to secure P2 and the first podium of the weekend.
Race 2 was another close fight, starting from pole, we unfortunately lost the lead after a small lock-up and a strong move from another driver, but held position to finish P2 again.
The final race brought more challenges, starting P10 on the reverse grid. A push wide through the chicane ended the chances of another points score, but the pace was there all weekend, and the team walk away with plenty of positives.
It wasn’t the perfect weekend, but the support from friends, family, the team, and sponsors means everything. Now, it’s all eyes on Monza.
