Reza wraps up his Rookie GB3 Season at Monza
The final round of the GB3 Championship brought us to one of the most iconic circuits in motorsport - Monza. Named the Temple of Speed, it’s known for its long straights and high-speed corners, it proved to be both a challenge and a learning ground to close out an impressive first season in GB3.
We arrived confident after showing strong pace in both practice sessions. But just before qualifying, a mechanical issue landed, preventing the team from testing some key setup changes. Despite that setback and a series of red flags disrupting Q1 — we pushed through, securing P10 and P6 across both qualifying sessions.
Race 1 we were able to climb three places after the restart, holding firm against intense competition while others faltered. It was a composed and confident drive.
Race 2 was less fortunate, contact on the opening laps caused suspension damage and an early retirement. Still the team walked away with valuable lessons, particularly around Monza’s notoriously chaotic first chicane.
The reverse-grid Race 3 brought a strong finish, with Reza starting P6, losing ground early on, but regaining positions with a late move on the final lap to finish on a high.
For the final weekend of the season there was plenty of learnings, a world of support from friends and family and a strong foundation moving forward.
With some exciting things coming through the off-season, we’re ready to take the next step.
