Unfinished business: I’m returning to Macau

I’m going back to Macau this November.

I’m delighted to confirm I’ll be racing with Rodin Motorsport at the 73rd Macau Grand Prix, which hosts the FIA FR World Cup at the Guia Circuit from 19 to 22 November.

It’s a big moment for the team. This will be Rodin’s first appearance in the FIA FR World Cup, and the first time the new Tatuus T-326 Gen2 car has raced on the streets of Macau. We’ve spent a full season together in the Formula Regional European Championship, and I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to take this on with.

Last year I made my Macau debut with Trident. I loved it. Guia is probably the best track I’ve ever driven. But a crash in the first qualifying session meant I started 22nd for the main race, and I didn’t make the finish. I’ve thought about that weekend a lot since. I know what this place demands now, and I’m going back with unfinished business.

There’s nowhere else like Macau. Fast straights, walls that never give you a second chance, and a mountain section where you have to commit completely. You build up lap by lap, respect the barriers and still find the courage to push. Experience counts for a lot here, and I’m arriving with a year more of it.

The plan is simple: build up properly through practice, put together a clean qualifying, and give myself a real shot on race day.

A huge thank you to Rodin Motorsport for the opportunity, and to my family and partners for backing me all season.

Next stop, Macau!
